THE FOUNDATION OF PRANASOMATICS
A gentle, trauma-informed journey to establish safety, regulation, and embodied presence – the essential ground for deeper transformation.
Begin with the Foundation
The Pranasomatics Pre-Course is a short but profound and transformative journey in itself. You'll experience the essential foundations of embodied presence, nervous system regulation, and pranic awareness, which are the foundations of pranasomatics.
This is where we begin: with the simple, yet profound practices of coming home to your body and breath.
Whether you're new to somatic work, have a history of trauma, or simply wish to establish a solid foundation before deeper dives, this pre-course provides the container to do so with safety and presence.
What is the problem?
-
No matter how much inner work you’ve done, there’s a subtle sense of being “just outside yourself.” You keep chasing clarity in your mind, but your body never fully exhales.
You can’t quite land in your own skin.
-
Moments of possibility tip into overwhelm; momentum turns into burnout. You start, stop, and start again, and call it growth, even as you feel more frayed at the edges.
You keep cycling between urgency and collapse.
-
You’re functional, even successful, but feel oddly disconnected from the depth and pulse of life. Joy feels fleeting, intimacy feels effortful, and the deeper “you” rarely gets to breathe.
You’re living from the surface of yourself.
You don't prepare by learning more.
You prepare by listening deeper.
What You'll Experience
Unlike many courses focusing on techniques or concepts, the pre-course emphasizes direct experience and embodied understanding. You won't just learn about the nervous system – you'll feel it and deeply understand it. You won't just study techniques – you'll experience their transformative power.

• What if I can’t attend all sessions live?
→ All sessions are recorded and available for 3 months.
• Do I need experience in somatic work or tantra?
→ No. This course is beginner-friendly, but deep.
• What if I’m currently in therapy or trauma recovery?
→ This course is trauma-informed and respectful of your pace.

Why this?
Because the patterns you don’t dissolve in your body will keep replaying in your life, no matter how much you understand them in your mind.
Because what you haven’t met in your body will keep steering your choices, long after you’ve tried to outgrow them.
Our story
Pranasomatics grew out of our personal and parallel journey of self-discovery.
Lydia started her journey with yoga in 2002, but trauma surfaced in the practice, which ignited her path into trauma healing, somatics, mindfulness, and nervous system work for more than a decade. The kind of work that changes how you feel life.
Kai started his journey in 1995 and went deep into yoga philosophy, especially the non-dual tantric tradition, the study and practice that rewires how you see life.
At some point, we realized… we were looking at the same thing. The old yogic texts were describing practices for presence, breath, and release that modern psychology was just acknowledging.
But we also saw the gaps. Yoga without trauma and emotional integration can keep you on the surface, bypassing the deeper work that leads to liberation. Trauma work without awakened awareness can keep you looping in the healing journey.
So we started blending them, east and west, ancient and modern. What came out of this is Pranasomatics: a way of coming home to yourself through a blend of theory, practices, and modalities that work. Period.
We’ve lived this work ourselves. It’s cracked us open, deepened our relationship, and shown us parts of ourselves we didn’t even know were hiding.
We apply pranasomatics to our daily lives now, and it has become second nature. It’s incredible what happens as a result. A deep connection with ourselves, our beloved ones, and the world around us.
Why work with us?
Lydia & Kai Hill bring decades of experience in somatic therapy, non-dual awakening, nervous system integration, and tantric transmission. They both can hold you in your fullness.
Together, they carry both poles – Shakti & Shiva – guiding you into presence, clarity, and inner movement. They created Pranasomatics as a path for those who are done performing healing and ready to become it.
